All of the first graders at our school have to decorate a pumpkin as a book character for their October project. With the exception of hot-gluing the legs (my job) she completed it all by herself!
You can't tell from the picture, but the pumpkin is covered in decoupaged tissue paper, just like the ladybug in Eric Carle's book.
I think it is an amazing likeness. And our grouchy ladybug was very proud of her work! Here is Coleman's 1st grade pumpkin project.

GREAT JOB on the art project! She must be a Braun....
I'm glad I read this because it reminded me that I need to go find my hot glue gun for a porcupine diorama that's due on Monday.
Last, meet Minute.
Carolyn, Meme likes your ladybug pumpkin. Keep up the good work. I'm also proud of your Cardinal Class Act award.
Super impressive! This makes me happy that my boys won't be going to school with the Braun kids...I think Crafty KT should make one of these for Sydney ;)
Lady bug City!
