Between work schedules and lifeguard training, we could only get a few days away. The plan was to go to Orange Beach, but the weather forecast kept getting worse and worse, so we made a last minute decision to switch from the Alabama coast to the east coast of Florida. Amelia Island, here we come!
We stopped for lunch in Darien, GA at Skipper's Fish Camp.
The weather was beautiful for lunch on the deck!
We enjoyed a little sit in a big chair, and then got back on the road to the beach.
It was a little chilly at the beach, but just right for a bike ride
followed by dinner downtown and some window shopping.
