"Cool" Chalkboard Art

Getting Carolyn ready for dorm living, we bought her a mini fridge. And because girls are so much more fun to decorate with, we decided to chalk paint it!

This is a great quote to start off her college career:
(even if it is a bit uncentered...)

Some New Christmas Decorations

I added a cute banner to my vintage tool box and it was a great place for this year's Christmas cards.
I love changing out the chalkboard on the mantle
and my new felt board is almost as much fun as the chalkboard!

Craft Day

One of  Carolyn's favorite past-times is to troll my pinterest boards looking for things to craft.  Today she and I made banners.  She chose several fabrics from my fabric stash to make her bunting.
And she sewed it completely by herself on my machine.
We hung it in her room and it looks so cute!
I made my bunting out of some chalkboard fabric I bought a while back.

After cutting out the banners, I realized the small triangles could be a mini-banner.
I think I like the little one better than the big one!
