We were so excited to watch Sarah Fuller make history today as the first female to play in a power 5 conference football game!
Way to go, Vandy!

Coleman's High School Memory Quilt
With plenty of time over quarantine, I made Coleman's memory quilt out of some of his favorite high school tshirts.

ATL Flyover
Today the Navy Blue Angels and the Air Force Thunderbirds did a flyover Atlanta to support frontline workers and first responders. We drove over to GA-400 to find a place to watch. Every parking deck we passed was packed.
We ended up on the side of the road and had a great view.

They crossed over us twice
and the second time released their contrails.
This is the first time they have done a joint flyover. Yesterday was NYC and today they flew over Baltimore/DC before Atlanta. I'm so glad we went!

Succulents
I purchased the succulent on the left in the cute pot. I planted the other two in these gorgeous pots that my resident potter made me!

FCA Polar Bear Camp 2020
Couldn't do it without our volunteer coaches!
I think this is our 6th or 7th year for girls camp. And after a several year hiatus, boys camp is back!
And sweatshirt sorting is always so much fun-especially when they arrived after camp because of weather issues!

Finally Got One
Finally decided to bite the bullet and try to get the new chicken sandwich from Popeye's. (I tried the first round and was unsuccessful!)
Pulled up to the end of the line at 12:30...
At 12:59, Carolyn and I pulled away with our order!
It did not disappoint! It was OH SO GOOD!
(Carolyn had to eat hers will working on a project for AP Lang.)

Mamaw's Hoosier
One of the only things I have from my dad's family. My mom brought this old hoosier home from my Mamaw and Papaw's house in Arkansas and refinished it. My dad replaced the pullout shelf.
I love to imagine my grandmother making biscuits here.

The Most Awesome Lamp Eve
I texted a pic to Coleman and got an emphatic YES! So home it came! (I can't believe I paid what I did for this monster!)
It required a lot of touchup, but now has a loving home in #203.

FCA Polar Bear Clinic
Our fifth annual FCA Polar Bear Clinic was a huge success!
We had great speakers:
Audrey, Danielle, and Carolyn
Megan Smith, the assistant coach at Lee University
and Stephanie DeSmit, who played for the Boston Ride.
We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather!
Great supporters-Bryan from Gwinnett FCA and Riley from FCA Lacrosse
lots of great drills
lots of goalies
and lots of great coaches!
This is one of my favorite events of the year
Look! Sticklets!
Carolyn on D
We had over 100 players and almost 20 coaches.
Can't wait until next year!
