Mom's Taxi
Saturdays.
Today the cross country team ran in the Atlanta Classic. Carolyn and I left the house at 7:30 this morning to drive an hour and a half to Douglasville. We watched Christian run for 20 minutes and 52 seconds (new pr!) of which we actually SAW him maybe 30 seconds! Then we drove an hour and a half back home, dropped off Christian to take a shower and went to a birthday luncheon for one of Carolyn's friends. Then back home to pick up Christian and drive an hour to Carolyn's game. (Camera left in car, STILL no photos!) Meanwhile, Coleman and Jim drove an hour to Coleman's game and then hung out until the rest of us came for Carolyn's game. A stop for yogurt with some teammates and then home for pizza and LSU football.
200 miles, 5 yogurts, 3 games, 2 pizzas, 1 race=one great day!

5.2 million veterans served during the Gulf War (representing service from Aug. 2, 1990, to present).
2.6 million veterans served during World War II (1941-1945).
2.8 million veterans served during the Korean War (1950-1953).
