Last But Fastest

Carolyn's high school memories quilt is done! The last one I will make but by far the quickest of the three to get made!

Coleman's High School Memory Quilt

With plenty of time over quarantine, I made Coleman's memory quilt out of some of his favorite high school tshirts.

Quilt Top Finish

Carolyn found this beautiful pieced quilt top when we were antiquing one day and we bought it to finish it. With time on her hands, we ordered backing fabric and she started it..
Which quickly turned into my project. But the finished product turned out cute!
It's more wall-hanging size than cover sized, but it looks cute on the back of her chair.

WIP Finish

I've had the blocks for Christian's high school quilt cut out since the summer after he graduated, but never finished it. This was a great quarantine project!
Carolyn even helped with the hand binding.

Love the way it turned out and I hope that he will enjoy the memories it invokes for years to come!

Just Do It Quilt

A quilt for Coleman made from his Nike t-shirts growing up. I gave away a bunch of them before I started saving them for a quilt... I wish I still had all of them!
And I remembered to label this one.
This quilt is headed to KSU on Saturday!

WIP-Finally Finished

Finally finished this graduation present for my friend, Sam! (In my defense, I didn't get the t-shirts until October-right before the run of holidays and lacrosse season!)

I'm very pleased with how it turned out... I still need to do Christian's high school t-shirt quilt. Maybe this summer?

Passing the Torch

Carolyn wants to learn to quilt.  So we picked out a pattern and fabric and jumped in!
600 cut squares later
and she is wondering when we get to the sewing part, ha!

Lakehouse Quilt

We adore Carolyn's teacher this year and Carolyn really wanted me to make a quilt for her as an end-of-school gift.
Her teacher's favorite color is red and I thought this would be a nice quilt for her lakehouse.

Wrapped in "custom" wrapping paper and ready to go!
Thanks, Ms. Reed for a great year!

Tshirt Quilt

I've been saving lacrosse tshirts that the boys have outgrown to someday make a tshirt quilt.  After cleaning Coleman's closet out over Christmas break, I finally had enough.
I backed it in grey sweatshirt fabric.  It is so soft and worn-in feeling!
And since spring has STILL not come to Georgia, we will get to use it before next winter!

Birthday Quilt

My sweet niece, Abigail
requested a big quilt since the only one I've made her was a doll quilt.
So here is her birthday quilt, in her favorite colors of lime and turquoise.
It has funky jumbo ric-rack and the back is a fun green leopard print.
Happy 9th birthday, sweet girl!
