Fourth on the Fifth

We celebrated the Fourth of July on the Fifth this year.

Coleman and Sadie came home and Blake joined us for dinner. Jim grilled steaks, I made sides, and Carolyn made sugar cookies for everyone to decorate
We celebrated a big 21st birthday a day early as well!
We missed Christian! But it was so nice to have almost everyone here.

Holiday Season at the Pantry

We've spent a lot of time through COVID volunteering at the Pantry and there was even more opportunity this time of year getting ready for our huge Thanksgiving and Christmas distribution days.
I love these teenagers who get up early every Saturday and volunteer because they have hearts of gold!
Volunteering with the girls lacrosse team
volunteering with the boys lacrosse team
We even did a night with some of our dear FCA friends!

This girl truly has a heart for the Pantry
We love Coach Mego!

For our Christmas distribution we fed 957 families.

Flag Football Senior Night

Senior Night was originally scheduled back in November, but several of our seniors were under quarantine, so it was rescheduled for the first round of playoffs.
Ready to walk out onto the field
Team Captain again this year
She is very intense!
Our team is VERY good! They didn't let up a single point until the last game of the regular season and outscored their opponents 256-6. However, the week playoffs began, three of their top offensive threats got hurt, including their starting quarterback.
Unfortunately, the game didn't go the way we hoped and they lost the game 6-0.
Defense played great, though! We just couldn't put any points on the board.
They were so heartbroken!
It has been a tough fall for her, but I am so proud of her!!!
Senior night festivities were a small consolation. Strong, pretty girls!
Love these two coaches! (And I know they love her as well!)
I love my #12!
