Helen, Georgia

The kids were out of school on Monday, so we took what has become an annual "pre-spring" weekend trip! (Only requirement-a hotel with an indoor pool!) We went to Helen, Georgia-a little town about an hour away in the Georgia Mountains. The whole town is like an Alpine Village-gingerbread trim on all of the buildings, steep roofs and Bavarian murals everywhere! We hiked to Anna Ruby falls, a waterfall in the nearby national park, ate at a Bavarian tavern and swam in the pool. We had a lot of fun, of course, and more importantly, lived to tell about it...
