The big day FINALLY arrived! It's hard to have your birthday around a holiday and have to wait a whole extra week before your birthday party... but for another year, Coleman managed! This year we had an arts and crafts party.
The kids made scratch-art picture frames, foam bookmarks and sand art bracelets.
They also sculpted with model magic.
But the favorite craft by far was SHRINKY-Dinks! The kids LOVED them. I don't think any of the kids (other than Christian and Coleman) had ever done them before. The looks on their faces when the tags started to shrink in the toaster oven was priceless! 
Coleman had a great time...and our house survived (especially since there were no painting crafts!)

Looks like the party was fun but I believe I'll pass on the midnight Harry Potter movie. Enjoyed the visit.
