On our way home from Lexington (and after a good, nutritious lunch) we stopped at Cumberland Falls in the Daniel Boone National Forest. This waterfall is 125 wide and 60 feet high and is known as the Niagara of the South.
The kids had a blast playing on the sandstone rock
and skipping stones.
There were also some caves to explore.
Yelling "SNAKE!" at your mother and sister when you are exploring a dark cave is NOT. COOL.
