School's In

Well, we've managed to survive the first week of school...some days more successfully than others!  Tuesday Christian had a migraine and went straight from the bus to the clinic where the nurse called me to come and pick him up.  Today Coleman "forgot" a whole section of math homework and had to do it at the breakfast table.  And also this morning, Christian missed the bus....But YAY!  It's Friday!  And that means Flashback...

This picture is of my father-in-law, Louie and his sister Margaret (Aunt Sis) on the first day of school.  I don't have a clue what year is is...guessing their ages-maybe from 1947 or 1948?  Actually, I'm not sure it's from the first day of school, either.  Maybe they are holding Bibles and are on their way to church.  That doesn't fit with today's theme, though, so I'm going to stick with the first day of school!
