Comfort Food

The weather finally cooled off here and it feels like November, if not January.  Cold weather means recipes for warm tummies!  And isn't homemade mac 'n' cheese the ultimate comfort food?  This is my friend Mrs. Wanda's recipe.  She made it for us the last time we were in Maryland and I made it for dinner tonight.  Umm umm, GOOD.
For a printable recipe, click here.  I also tried a new recipe tonight to go with it- Pork Loin with Creamy Mustard Sauce.  It was four thumbs up!  (Coleman wasn't crazy about it... I'm taking his temperature; he must be sick!)

YUMMY! Pretty soon I'm going to be able to say that everything I learned how to cook, I learned from Andrea Braun. :)

Here is an even easier recipe: You don't even have to cook the noodles first.
Put two cups uncooked elbow noodles in a greased 9x13. Stir in two cups of cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Pour four cups milk over noodles and cheese and bake at 350 for 50 min. Take out, stir, and add an additional cup of cheese to top. Return to oven for ten min, and voila!
This is my go to recipe. I sometimes add a veggie or some turkey sausage to make it a main course for the boys.
And, that pork loin sounds delish!!!!!

I mom, therefore I blog.
