Fernbank Museum of Natural History

Shouldn't Spring Break be accompanied by weather that feels like Spring?  It is only 45 degrees today!  Luckily we had already made plans to go to the Fernbank with our friends, the Olives.
The special exhibit showing now is Dinosaurs.  Love this topiary.
We saw two little dinosaurs up close.  Look at the growl on the one on the left!
We all pet the leopard gecko.
And of course we took the obligatory picture in front of the argentinosaurus fossil.  (Which is the largest fossil ever found, I might add.)
The Fernbank is a spectacular museum-light and airy
with lots of touch opportunities for kids.
Coleman with Hannah and Abby.  (Could they be ANY cuter?)
We have lived here too long!  The Fernbank is almost an hour from our house... but still we ran into some friends from school!
Checking out argentinasaurus from above.  WAY above!
We topped off our trip to the museum with a trip to Fellini's Pizza for lunch.
Great pizza, great friends, GREAT DAY!
Thanks, Olives, for inviting us to play!

I am sad to say that in all the years I lived in metro ATL I never made it over to Fernbank. Looks like fun!

The best shot is the one of Caroline's growl. I recognized it before you even pointed us in that direction.
