Yesterday was the last day of school. I survived. May was like being hit by a truck, as it always is. End of the year teacher gifts, 2 lacrosse end of season parties, PTA Teacher's Luncheon, the last PTA meeting of the year, several other meetings and a birthday party. And Coleman's lacrosse tournament (four games in two days... in the rain!) That was all in ONE WEEK. But I survived!

Have you been to this site? Awesome gift, if you need one for someone who cooks!)
We had a great first day of summer vacation. A day off before two big projects coming up: a certain someone's birthday party and making decorations for VBS. I also started a new sewing project today that will have to remain under wraps for a while as the recipient reads this blog!

I love the cookbook, but the fact that is turned to the Jambalaya page makes it perfect!
You know . . .even though half the recipes are yours, and half are mine. . . okay, so we can't take ALL the credit . . . just a lot . . . i'm still going to order a copy! Thanks for making such an awesome gift for Ms. Power!
I wish I was on summer break.7 1/2 more days of school, but who's counting.
The cookbook link is great. Mr. KFuj may be getting a grill cookbook for our up coming anniversary.
beautiful quilt!
aren't you supposed to be happy to survive the summer, not the school year?
I love love love the quilt. i also love the idea of the cookbook. Maybe while I'm living with the Queen I can get the King to do a brain dump for me and teach me how to cook and I can put it all into something like this....
