The cookie jar was empty so Carolyn and I made cookies today.
We made these washboard cookies from allrecipes.com. I loved the story behind them! Carolyn loved rolling them in sugar. Now walking barefoot across my kitchen floor reminds me of a beach vacation. Except without the sun and the water.
She also liked flattening them with the fork.
We doubled the recipe and now we have a full cookie jar again. Although Jim is working hard to empty it.
