First Handmade Christmas Present

I've made numerous quilts over the past couple of years and most of them have been given as gifts.  Then I realized that I haven't made any for my kids!  I love this zigzag pattern and wanted to try it and I decided it would be perfect for Carolyn.  Although you can't really tell from the photo, the front is eight different turquoise fabrics from lighter to darker.

And the backing is a green and turquoise print.  

I love the zigzag on the back (but did not like the "math" I had to do to put it there!)

So one handmade Christmas present down, two to go!
