Yesterday on the way to the cabin, we took a small detour to Amicalola Falls, one of the highest waterfalls east of the Mississippi. The visitor's center was already closed (DARN, we didn't get to see the snakes!) but we walked to the bottom of the Falls to look up. The foliage was so thick, we couldn't even see any of it!
After a short discussion, we decided to go the top. It is only about a mile hike, but the last part is all steps.
Or, we MIGHT have gotten back in the car and driven to the top. ;D
Either way, the view is totally worth it!
