To break up our trip home, we spent Friday night in Durham.
The next morning, we visited Duke University.
and the chapel is awe-inspiring.
We visited the commons
And of course, we visited the lacrosse field, but it was locked so we could only look in.
On our way out of town, we stopped at locopops, a famous, local gourmet popsicle shop.
We had a great vacation, and we were very glad to get home. And Gumbo was VERY happy to see us!
