Camping Party

For Carolyn's birthday this year, she wanted a camping party at the cabin.  It was such an easy party-all of the fun things we do at the cabin were the party activities!

We started with a nature scavenger hunt (and of course, they had to take their water bottles with them!)

Guess who realized when she arrived at the cabin that she had forgotten her bag at home?  A quick trip to the discount store remedied the problem!

 The girls had fun wading in the creek

 And of course, we roasted hot dogs and s'mores for dinner!

 Another hike after dinner 

 was just enough to settle them down for a movie before bed.

(and yes, they did actually sleep!)

 We had the giant s'mores cake for breakfast 

 and then the girls decorated their ducks for a duck race down the creek.  

 Kendall's pink duck won almost every heat!

The girls all had a great time and were all just wonderful.  Carolyn loved her birthday party!
