Air Force Museum

On the way home from the beach we stopped at the Air Force Armament Museum at Eglin Air Force Base.
There were tons of planes, from a B-52
to F-15s and even some helicopters, bombs and missiles.
Carolyn checked out the inside of a helicopter
and the boys checked out the wheel bay of a B-52.

The gravity bomb was pretty heavy!
Inside the museum we all sat in the cockpit of a Warthog
and checked out the exhibits from World War I to present.  This was a fun, easy stop to finish out our time in Fort Walton.
