On Saturday, we went to the Buffalo River Elk Festival in Jasper, Arkansas.
Coleman was very excited about the kids' fishing derby.
Carolyn was excited about entering her White and Dark Chocolate Raspberry
Pie in the pie contest.
Christian was just excited to be there-ha!
Although we didn't have any luck at the fishing derby (didn't catch a fish, or win the drawing for the kayak), Carolyn's pie won second place in the Pie Contest! She won $75 and her pie was auctioned off for $35 to benefit the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund.
She was a nervous wreck during the judging!
Only downside-we didn't get to eat it!
