City of Brotherly Love

Wednesday we headed into one of my favorite cities!

First stop-The Liberty Bell

 and then Independence Hall.

So much history!

 We took a carriage ride around the squares

 and then ran into a couple of old friends.

 After throwing pennies on Franklin's grave,

we made our first visit to the US Mint.

 

After a visit with Betsy Ross

we had just enough time to get a snack at the oldest candy store in Philly. 

 Another train ride home 

 and we finished off the day with a home-cooked meal and a nice long visit with the Aments.
