Today was Immigration Day for the 5th graders!
Carolyn was Madga Zsuszanna, from Hungary, and immigrated with a husband and daughter.
Ready to board the boat
and off to America, passport in hand.
Unfortunately, the quota of Hungarians was met before she was processed and she was deported.
It was a sad day in the deportation room. Sad as she was, it was a great learning experience!
