La Pavillon

We splurged and stayed at La Pavillon Hotel during our time in New Orleans.  

And I am so glad we did!  It is a beautiful old hotel on the edge of the French Quarter.  

There are hand-painted ceilings throughout and a gorgeous elevator with mirrored doors (to amuse yourself while waiting.)

 The pool and hot tub are on the roof and the kids took a late night swim and soak under the city lights.

And our favorite perk?  At 10 PM every night, pb&js are served along with hot chocolate and milk.  

 Ready-made or make your own from a variety of peanut butters, jellies and breads.  

 Either way, they were yummy!
