Do you ever remember having "family projects" for homework when we were in school? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that my mom helped with my homework on occasion, but I don't think anything was ever ASSIGNED to her! This was Coleman's family assignment for October. He (we) had to decorate a pumpkin as a character from a book. Big surprise, he picked Yoda! (Actually, there was some back and forth. He really wanted to do Laura Ingalls since we've been reading Little House on the Prairie. I think he just couldn't bring himself to pick a GIRL character!)
Anyway, didn't he turn out cute?
Of course, his eye, ear and light saber all fell off at least once before he made it to school.
