We made these candy turkeys in Coleman's class this year. We make these turkeys every year to take to school. But THIS year, the kids made them themselves...which I like a LOT better! I know it's too late for this year, but here is how you do it:
Candy Turkey
1 chocolate covered cherry
2 vanilla wafers
1 chocolate chip
1 burnt peanut candy (a regular roasted peanut works just as well, it's just not red)
5 candy corns
chocolate frosting "for glue"
With frosting, attach the chocolate covered cherry to one vanilla wafer. Frost the remaining wafer, and fan the candy corns out points together. Attach the chocolate chip for the beak and underneath put the peanut. With frosting attach the candy corn wafer to the chocolate covered cherry as the tail. Then eat everything but the chocolate covered cherry because oooh! They're gross!

Unfortunately, you have the LSU - pigs score backwards on the schedule. By the way, Christian & Carolyn love the chocolate covered cherries or chocolate covered anything else.
I fixed it...it was wishful thinking, I guess...
