The Color Purple by Alice Walker
Bridget Jones' Diary by Helen Fielding
The Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole
Wendy and I are going to read The Confederacy together. I'm sure she doesn't need motivating, but I am afraid I will! (Hey, it's football season...)
I challenge all of you to read three books from the list. Leave your list in the comments section. (Kim A.-I'm talking to YOU, TOO!)

I'm glad Kim A was the only one called out.
1. The Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole (You know I can't be left out.). :)
2. Persuasion by Jane Austen because apparantly I am most like Anne Elliot and I can't believe that i have never read it. Plus I just got the movie Becoming Jane from Netflix, so I need a little Austen in my life.
3. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. I've been meaning to read that one for a while anyway.
I just realized as I went back through my list that I forgot to continue to italicize as I went through the list. Oh well.
1. A Confederacy of Dunces
2. The Five People You Meet in Heaven
3. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. (I read it a couple of days ago.)
I have more time to read because I can't watch football (or anything else) on TV - we don't pick up any channels. Although I spend a lot of time on the internet...
I got your message about Freakonomics. I will add that to my list. I can't take on 3 but I can take on 1 for right now :)
I just started Love in a Time of Cholera. Only on page 8. It's a slow starter. Having a hard time making myself read it now.
Okay...I am reading!!! But if you insist:
1. Maisy Goes To School
2. Cat In The Hat
3. Barney's First Christmas
Girlfriend. It is supposed to be a book FROM THE LIST. I am reading Bridget Jones' Diary right now and I am passing it to you when I am done!
