August 2003: we met my parents, and my sister and brother-in-law in Gulf Shores, AL for a week at the beach. Carolyn was only 2 months old and my mother was quite content to stay in the condo with her while we played on the beach. Coleman had just turned three and Christian was almost seven. Coleman was so excited to play in the giant "sandbox!"
