Christmas morning.
I don't know the year of this picture, but look in the foreground... it's a Rubik's cube! Thanks to trusty Google, I learned that the Rubik's Cube was the Number 1 toy of 1980. I would have been almost 10 years old, so this seems to fit. That cowboy girl hat was one of my favorite Christmas gifts of all time. The dress hanging in the back? Not so much.
