Opening Day

Saturday was opening day of lacrosse season! We were at our home field which was nice, since Coleman had to be at the field at 8:00.  

It was freezing cold at 8:00 in the morning.  22 degrees to be exact.  Sitting on metal bleachers didn't exactly help.  We came prepared though!  She almost looks comfortable, doesn't she?

Although Coleman's team lost, he had a goal and an assist.

Christian's game was at 4:30 and it was much warmer. 

Christian played great.

See that brutish gorilla kid in blue?  This is right after he illegally checked my kid in the back.

But my kid is tough!  He got right back up (although a little slowly!) and stayed in the game.  He also had an assist and his team won.

Next week we throw a basketball game with a cute little cheerleader into the mix!
