A Day With Pasta Is a Good Day, Indeed!

Back when we lived in St. Louis, Jim and I taught a parenting class at our church.  (I know, stop laughing.)  Every week a different couple took turns providing dinner for the group.  At the end of the semester, I made a cookbook for everyone with the recipes from all of those dinners.  This is one of my favorite casseroles and is from that class.

Pasta Con Broccoli (click here for printable recipe)
There is one member of my family who would prefer that it be Pasta SANS Broccoli.  (And that person is NOT one of our three youngest members!)

I love broccoli, but Mr. KFuj does not. However, he said he would try it, I may have to adapt the recipe, I will keep you updated as to the changes and success :-)

I hate broccoli. My mom loves it and would cook it all the time...steamed. The house would wreak of it for days. I have promised my children I will never force them to eat it.

I am concerned by all the broccoli-prejudism this post has generated!

I like broccoli, especially when it's covered in cheese. My kids have an on-again, off-again relationship with it.

I don't understand why someone would eat broccoli. Grass, weeds, broccoli and other vegetation is for cows and rabbits!

Mr. Anderson will not eat it either...he says something about little trees with afros??? I love it and might have just appreciated a little sampling of the casserole had SOMEONE sent some over.

I have requested several times that she send over some of her baking. The FedEx man would bring it right to my door for her.
