What A Day

When you upload videos to YouTube and make them private they won't play when you embed them on your blog.  Seems obvious, doesn't it?  (They are fixed now!)

For $1249 you should be able to tell a difference in the way your car drives.  Luckily, I can.  (No more GRRRRRHRRRRHRRRR bump bump bump.  Thank goodness!)

It costs $200 to get a replacement key fob for a 2006 Chevy Uplander van.  Therefore, I will continue to unlock it manually.  Sigh.

4 tablespoons is not the same thing as 4 teaspoons when you are baking bread.  Realizing this 30 seconds after you have dumped the butter into your bread dough is too late to do any good.

Telling your first-grader ONE time not to ride the bus home today (since Mommy is AT the school) is not enough.  Thank goodness for a sweet neighbor who will sit on your front porch with your six-year old while you are racing home to get her!

"Mommy, your legs are spikey" is not something you want to hear.

The longer you are in Wal-mart, the more you spend.  I was in Walmart much, much, much too long today.

Before making a recipe that has 222 steps, you should notice that it makes only 12 cookies! (I have to say, though, they are REALLY good.)

A handful of Hershey Special Dark Chocolate Baking Chips can turn your whole morning around!

Spikey?!?! Thats awesome!

One of my fobs doesn't work anymore either---I assumed batteries, but havent done anything about it. For $200, I'm hoping I'm right!
