This is one of those weeks when everything I have committed to over the last six months requires some (large) time commitment. I have been in both the elementary and middle school multiple hours every day this week... and tomorrow and Friday are the heavy days!
I picked Carolyn and Coleman up from school today since I was STILL there at 3:00 and we decided on the spur of the moment to go to Mayfield's. A beautiful fall-ish day and the best ice cream around!
Mayfield's is getting their fall groove on.
I don't know if you can tell from the photo but the kids are standing in front of a giant ear of corn... made from yellow Mayfield Milk cartons! (And completely unrelated, how cute are those 1986-inspired tights Carolyn is sporting?)
And bonus! Mayfields had a new flavor today-Moo Java. It was divine.

It totally looks like a giant ear of corn! You are such a great mom!
And you still made cookies!
I was wondering what that was. The syrofoam containers look like ones that used to hold Big Macs.
Do you get Blue Bell? You should try their Moo-lennium Crunch.
Oh.
My.
I knew exactly what they were standing in front of... love corn!
Carolyn's outfit is awesome :)
