Quick Fix

The dishwasher at the cabin works great. It looked a bit dated though, since it is almond-colored... especially since the refrigerator, stove and oven are all black.
So this weekend I changed it! I unscrewed the screws on the side of the dishwasher door and slid the metal faceplates out. They are almond on one side and a lovely maize yellow on the other. (No such luck that the other choice would be black!)
But, no problem! A $6 can of appliance paint will do the trick.
A quick spray and a few hours of drying time and I have a looks-like new dishwasher!
I'm linking this post to Kimba's DIY Day. Go check out the other do it yourself projects!

I've got a project I've been putting off for months because I've never done it before and am too scared! Have you ever used crackle paint? Got any tips?

I love that you did this! We knew there was another side, too bad it was yellow! But you did a great job with the makeover!
