Denim Quilt

I finished my denim quilt today!  I wish I had paid attention to how many pairs of blue jeans I used.  I will say that the one pair I had of Jim's yielded a LOT more 4 1/2" squares than those little size 3 and size 4 kids jeans did!
I backed it in a soft flannel that Jim picked out.  (Jim happened to be at the fabric store with me... I am probably giving him WAY too much credit.  I'm sure he pointed to the first thing he saw on the rack so he could get out of there faster!)
I'm so happy with the way it turned out!  My original plan was that it would be a picnic blanket to keep in the car.  But it is so thick and warm, I think Carolyn and I will probably be fighting over who gets it during those COLD lacrosse games!
Coleman is already putting it to good use.

I L.O.V.E. it!! And Jim MUST have paid attention to what he was picking out, because it's the perfect backing! Oh i wish i had the patience to do this!!

I love this!!! I'm with Heather, I don't have the patience to quilt, but this makes me want to try.

Amazing!!! I swore I'd never do another rag-style quilt (I've done 2 all flannel), but that makes me want to do a denim one!
