Busch Gardens

We decided to purchase bounce passes that would allow us to visit Busch Gardens, Water Country USA and Colonial Williamsburg as many times as we wanted for the week.  This turned out to be such a great idea!  After leaving Christian's tournament in Charlotte, we arrived in Williamsburg around 6:30 Sunday night.  Jim and I decided as a surprise for the kids that we would hit Busch Gardens for a couple of hours on Sunday night.  They were so excited!
We hit the roller coasters right off.  The Loch Ness Monster was the only big coaster that Carolyn was tall enough to ride and she loved it.
There were lots of great coasters and we rode all of them at least once!  (Our favorite-the alpinegeist!)
On the way out of the park, we caught an unexpected fireworks show!
Since we got to the park so late, the lines were short.  We decided instead of spending a whole day at Busch Gardens, that we would just go every night.
Monday and Tuesday night I don't think we waited in ANY line longer than 10 minutes.  It was amusement park heaven! By the end of the evening, there were a couple of times the workers didn't even make the boys get off and let them continue to ride.

The last night we were there, the weather was looking pretty iffy, but we decided to chance it.  In the middle of dinner, the sky opened up and it POURED.  We tried to wait it out, but it was no use.  Of course, we were as far from our car as we could be!
Needless to say, we were all soaking wet by the time we climbed in the car, but we were all happy to have gotten a couple more rides in.  So we went back to the hotel-and hit the pool!
