At Carolyn's preschool they have mystery readers. None of the kids know when a mystery reader is going to come in or who it will be. Today, Coleman was the mystery reader! The preschoolers all cover their eyes while the mystery reader comes in and sits down.Whichever child "belongs" to the mystery reader gets to sit in the chair while he reads.
Coleman read a book called Sugaring by Jessie Haas. It is about going maple sugaring in Vermont. After he finished reading, we looked at the pictures from when we went maple sugaring in Vermont and everyone got to taste some maple syrup and graham crackers.Carolyn was so surprised and excited that Coleman came to her class today! (Way better than just ol' Mom!)
