Jump for Joy

The kids had two early release days from school this week for teacher conferences (ours were great, thanks!)  On Thursday, I promised the kids that we would go and do something fun.  We only had a couple of hours between Christian's bus and Carolyn's cheer practice, so we had to stay pretty close to home.  We went to the bungee jump place in the mall.  A few months ago at the Appalachian Christmas festival, Christian had bungeed while the other two were in a bounce house.  Which did NOT make SOME people happy that they didn't get a turn!
There was a tall climbing structure that two kids climbed while the other two jumped.
Carolyn was having second thoughts about the whole thing, so Coleman offered to climb with her while Christian and Kelly jumped.
They were like acrobats!
Coleman convinced Carolyn that she really did want to try it.
(She looks so big in this picture!)
And of course, she had a blast!
Coleman looked like a rag doll when he was jumping...
doubles, even a triple flip!
Of course, his head was flopping around and he didn't care if he landed on his feet, or his back or his head.  Whatever was on bottom!

Afterwards, we went to Johnny Rockets for gold-plated milkshakes.
Where we sang along to the 1950's music.  To which my kids knew most of the words.  We are very current in our music selections, you know!
