Taco Seasoning

I planned to have tacos for dinner last night but wouldn't you know it, when I took out the ingredients I didn't have any taco seasoning.  Kim wasn't any help as she was out, also.  But allrecipes.com came to the rescue!

This tasted even better than the packet from the store. (Seriously?  Doesn't homemade always taste better?)  Sometimes we forget that we buy convenience items for just that-the convenience! All of the ingredients were already in my pantry.  I'm pretty sure that I won't be buying taco seasoning packets again!

Taco Seasoning

Just like in the package!

 1 TBSP chili powder

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp paprika

1 1/2 tsps ground cumin

1 tsp sea salt

1 tsp black pepper

In a small bowl, mix all ingredients. Store in an airtight container.

I always add some Tony's cajun seasoning, too, just 'cause I put that in or on everything.
